Ik ben Patrick Mouwen – 40 jaar – Woonachtig in Rotterdam met mijn vrouw Mariska en 2 boys Jamie (7) en Ace (5). Ik heb er de afgelopen 10 jaar een sport van gemaakt om D365 F&O te implementeren in zoveel mogelijk Europese landen. De laatste 6 jaar heb ik onder eigen vlag implementaties verricht voor mooie opdrachtgevers als CHANEL, Microsoft en TeamViewer. Momenteel werk ik voor Life Style Sports, een mid-sized Retailer in Ierland.

Ik speelde vroeger altijd veel met Lego en doe dat nu nog steeds – Enig verschil is dat mijn lego blokken nu D365 F&O, Power Platform en Azure zijn. Project stakeholders noemen mij vaak een ‘Microsoft evangelist’ vanwege mijn brede en diepgaande kennis omtrent vele Microsoft producten en en tools. Mijn kracht is dat ik dat combineer met ruime ervaring in de Retail branch en functionele kennis in D365 F&O. Die combinatie maakt mij heel effectief in het integreren van D365 (Retail) en andere systemen.

Did you know that D365 for Retail contains more than 400 out-of-box Retail APIs (for the non-techies: interfaces) ranging from Loyalty management, Gift card management, Omni order management to Stock counting and Retail Logistics? These interfaces allow you to seamlessly integrate with any 3rd party systems like e-commerce platforms, POS systems and Consumer Apps. It also allows you to quickly enrich your Retail Solution with handy Power Apps, for example for in-store Goods receipt, Stock counting, Labelling or Clienteling.

Unfortunately I still notice that many Customers and Partners do not consider the Retail APIs in their designs, which goes around all the ‘free’ Retail Business Logic which comes with them.

In this session we’ll dive into this Treasure. We’ll first walk through the D365 Retail Integration Architecture. Then I’ll explain and demo how you can practically utilize the Retail APIs in any Apps to further enrich the Retail Experience.
